Theme
The modern age has brought comfort and ease for all things in life but along with it, it has also brought stress. The fast and demanding life of the present generation keeps everyone in stress and this in turn affects health. Stress also takes a toll on the efficiency and prodicity of a person. The need of the day therefore is to learn techniques of stress management. In order to enlighten the members on modern methods of stress management we have organised a workshop on Stress Management.
Faculty Profile
Mr. Ashwin V. Parikh is the Managing Director of International Business Development. He has done Masters in Scienece and Industrial Administration from USA. He has spent his early years in many large multinational companies in USA, He is an expert trainer in Stress Management, Leadership and Motivation.

Members’ Convention at Karnavati Club

It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that JITO family witnessed the grand celebration of JITO Members’ Convention on Sunday, 20th September 2009 at The Golden Glory Hall, Karnavati Club, Ahmedabad. The function started with the opening address by Shri Mahendrabhai A. Shah, Vice President, JITO Ahmedabad Chapter. Lightening of Lamp was done by Tapasvis (who did tapascharya during Paryushan this year) along with the President, Shri Utkarshbhai Shah.
President Shri Utkarshbhai Shah presented the audited reports of the accounts of JITO Ahmedabad Chapter & JITO Global Summit 2009. He concluded the AGM proceedings with positive notes. More than 1100 members of JITO Ahmedabad Chapter had participated in this Convention.
There were series of launches, including JITO Directory, “Memories & Expressions”, a commemorative of the JITO Global Summit 2009, Website, JITO Pages (an in-house bi-monthly Newsletter) as well as the Youth-Wing of JITO Ahmedabad Chapter.
The Future Vision of JITO and the Formation of Various Trade & Activity-wise Committees were also discussed in this convention. The 18 minutes Film of Global Summit was a source of motivation for all the members present there.
After the proceedings of lunch a kit containing, Directory, Memories & Expressions and JITO Pages was distributed to all the members who were present at the venue.

Workshop on Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) was conducted on 13th September 2009 in the JITO'S Conference Room.It is one of the most welcome amendments in Laws in recent time. In order to enlighten the members on the details of LLP, we had organized a Workshop on LLP.
Mr. Tanvish Bhatt is a leading Advocate and Sr. Partner of Wadia Gandhy & Company gave an exclusive independent understanding of LLP. He also explained the detailed procedure of formation of LLP, provision of LLP and Tax effect on LLP.Over 30 members have attended the programme.

The half day workshop on how to start a career in the Insurance business was conducted on July 19th 2009 at the Conference Hall of the JITO office.
We were fortunate enough to have high profiled speakers from amongst the Insurance fields like Shri Brijesh Shah of TATAAIG, Shri Ketan Ganatra of KCG Associates, Shri Himanshu Shah of LIC, Shri Mihir Vora of Bajaj Alliance who expressed his views on the growing opportunities of the Insurance Business. They also explained the scope of Insurance as a Business and the widespread advantages attached to it.

Six Sigma is a business management strategy, initially implemented by Motorola that today enjoys widespread application in many sectors of industry.
Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and variation in manufacturing and business processes.[11 Attended by large number of industrialists, management people, the number of registrations swelled far more than the total seats available.
We were fortunate to have Col. Santosh Dabral(Retd.) to take us through the journey of what exactly is SIX SIGMA. Mr Rajendra Mehta, MD of M/s.Harsha Engineers gave an insight on what advantages all could accrue having adopted the six sigma concept. Mr. Prakash Sanghvi, Chairman of Ratnamani Steel and Vice-President JITO Ahmedabad,chaired the session and mentioned about the importance and advantages of SIX SIGMA.The overwhelming response received for the event has given a reason to organize many more such workshops for the benefit of JITO members.

In view of the 3rd Mega International Multi Trade Fair & JITO Global Summit - 2009 from 9th January to 11th January 2009 atAhmedabad; members' got togather & the dinner was organized on 10 September, 2008 at The Grand Bhagwati by JITO - Ahmedabad chapter to brief members about the planning of the Triple Event and seek their suggestions and also to enlist members- interested in giving their service in various committees.The meet was attended by nearly 550 participants.The programme started with highly encouraging welcome address by the sponsorer of the programme Shri Rajendra Shah of Shah Alloys.
Shri Utkarsh Shah, President - JITO Ahmedabad Chapter addressed the gathering giving detailed narration of all the events to be covered under the Third Mega International Multi Trade Fair & JITO Global Summit- 2009. He spoke aboutthe vision of Pujya Maharaj Saheb and explained the impact of Coming together, Growing together, Winning Together. Also each committee chairman presented his or her activity plan for the event.The presentations were followed by interactive question answer session.

JITO - Ahmedabad Chapter invited Shri Vallabh Bhansaliji of Enam Securities Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai for an interactive session on the changing scenario of Indian Economy as also its impact on the World Economy. About 100 members participated in this interaction with Shri Vallabh Bhansali.
The interaction was arranged for business leaders, stock market and investment experts and representatives of corporate sector at Ellisbridge Gymkhana. Later during the evening at GLS Auditorium, Shri Bhansali expressed freely his views on India's positive outlook ahead and its commitment to growth economy.

A grand ceremony on the eve of Launching of Ahmedabad Chapter of JITO took place on Sunday, 29th June,2008 at the Golden Glory Hall, Kamavati Club, S.G.Highway, Ahmedabad in the auspicious presence of P P Naypadmasagadi Maharaj Saheb.There were more than 1200 participants participating in this gala event.
The function started with the opening address by Mr Sudhir U Mehta, Chairman, Torrent Pharmaceuticals who is amongst the Steering Committee of JITO-Ahmedabad Chapter, P.P.Nayapadmasagarji Maharaj Saheb conducted the oath taking of the Steering Committee Members and also proposed office bearers of the Ahmedabad Chapter.Shri Utkarsh Shah, after welcoming the august gathering, thanked each and every participant and gave the account of past activities under the aegis of Jain Sansthan.Shri Gautam Adani, esteemed Member of the Steering Committee, JITO Ahmedabad, welcomed the participants and conveyed his deep sense of gratitude to them. Parbci pants from various parts expressed their satisfaction over the management of the entire function.
