360 Degree Wellness with Dr.Stuti Shah (who is a fully certified Stott Pilates instructor and founder of Core Tuck In ).This was held on 10th December between 3.30 to 5.30.Details of the event-The event was attended by 60 plus members where Dr.Stuti Shah explained what is menopause and how to combat the effects of pre and post menopause.The event was attended by Sushmaji Kankaria (Director at apex wing ).The event started by Dr.Stuti’s speech on the importance of looking after one’s hormonal health and correct posture after 40 once menopause sets in . She also discussed about kigel exercises and how to do it . This led into an interactive session where she answered questions of the members present.This was followed by a Pilates session conducted by her and her trainees to teach all the members present the exercises needed to strengthen the core muscles.Objectives-To help the members understand pre menopause ,menopause and post menopausal effects and how to deal with it .Takeaway-This session helped awaken awareness regarding menopause which is faced by all women and how we can overcome the challenges like osteoporosis faced by us women because of this inevitable phase in all our lives.
