1stsession of Export – Import classesAn Online Learning Class on Export Import was organised by chairperson Krina Shah and JLW. The first online meet was in August. The first learning session started on 12 September 2024.Dr. Jagat Shah a PhD in International Business is conducting all the learning sessions of export – Import.Overview:The first session focused on equipping participating companies with skills to identify potential export markets through digital research tools.Key Learnings:Market Identification: 10 Participants learned to select target countries for export, identifying five potential markets each.Market Research Techniques: Instruction included methods for analysing market size, distribution channels, and other relevant factors for their products in the chosen countries.Outcome:Participants are now better prepared to conduct market research and strategically approach their export plans.Second Session on Finding Importers (September 19, 2024)During the session, 10 participants learned effective strategies for identifying importers in five shortlisted countries using digital research tools. They were introduced to various online platforms that facilitate the search for potential importers. To reinforce their learning, participants engaged in practical homework exercises designed to enhance their export skills based on the tools discussed. This hands-on approach aimed to ensure mastery of the techniques introduced during the training.3rdsession of Export-ImportDear all, in today’s 3rd session, students learned how to create a professional LinkedIn profile, its importance, and how to leverage it for career growth. They also explored how to find global exhibitions and expos related to their field, as well as the value of testimonials on their profiles.4thsession of Export – ImportIn the 4th session of export-import training, students learned key steps for business preparation and market entry. In Preparation, they covered obtaining an IEC code, joining Export Promotion Councils, setting up Google Alerts, creating case studies, improving LinkedIn profiles, and enhancing their website and social media.For Market, students explored tools like the SPANCO database, connecting with India embassies, registering as a UN vendor, setting up overseas warehouses, and attending international expos. They were also encouraged to use tools like Sales Navigator and recruit interns via Internshala.Testament:Dear All,Jai Jinendra,I am Priyanka Shah, Director of Scarnose Agritech Pvt.
