29 Sep, 2026 - Aabhar
Aabhar’, a thanksgiving event organised by JITO Ahmedabad Chapter, was a heartfelt expression of gratitude to its members for their exceptional support, dedication and wholehearted participation in the successful execution of numerous initiatives throughout 2025–26.
The event was conducted under the dynamic leadership of Chapter Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer and his team, and was graced by esteemed members of the Steering Committee and distinguished Apex dignitaries.
The year marked remarkable growth in membership, participation and coordination, setting new benchmarks for JITO Ahmedabad. Shri Hasmukhbhai Gadhecha, Past Apex Chairman Shri Ganpatraj Chowdhary and Gujarat Zone Chairman Shri Sanjeev Chhajer 2024–26 appreciated and admired the exemplary work accomplished by the chapter.
Special recognition was accorded to the Youth Wing and Ladies Wing for their outstanding achievements.
The Youth Wing earned national-level recognition for its successful event ‘Rangrez’ and further strengthened the chapter by enrolling 200 new members.
The Ladies Wing received national-level appreciation for its impactful initiatives in Art & Culture and Matrimony, along with the successful presentation of ‘Taste of Tradition’ at Sanskriti Sangam and strengthened the chapter by enrolling 50 new members.
JBN Convener Shri Rushabh Sanghvi and his team were also felicitated for the historic achievement of launching six new JBN groups in a single day, a landmark accomplishment reflecting exceptional teamwork and commitment.
On the occasion, Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer expressed his sincere gratitude to every member whose contribution made the year memorable. He also acknowledged the support of sponsors and donors, newly enrolled FCP and Patron members, and the growing strength of the Youth Wing and Ladies Wing.
A moment of immense pride for JITO Ahmedabad was the appointment of our own member and Apex Vice Chairman for 2024–26, Shri Himanshu Shah, as President of JITO Apex for the term 2026–28—a prestigious recognition of the leadership emerging from Ahmedabad.
The chapter also celebrated several other significant national-level appointments: Shri Asit Shah as President, Shraman Arogyam; Shri Jigish Shah and Shri Sanjeev Chhajer as Board of Directors (BOD), JITO Apex; and Shri Jigish Doshi as Vice Chairman, JEAP. JITO Ahmedabad extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all five members for their new responsibilities and continued success.
Shri Himanshu Shah expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and blessings received from members and well-wishers, and reaffirmed his commitment to achieving tremendous milestones in the coming years while extending his continued support to the incoming Chapter Chairman, Shri Vaibhav Shah, for 2026–27.
A defining achievement of the year was the extraordinary growth in membership, with FCP membership increasing from 209 to 301 and Patron membership from 771 to 949, including 200 new Patrons and 22 members upgraded to FCP, apart from growth across other membership categories.
This growth goes far beyond numbers. Membership strength directly contributes to the representation and opportunities available to the chapter and its members at the national level through JITO Apex. The prestigious appointments achieved this year are a reflection of this growing strength and the collective efforts of the entire chapter.
‘Aabhar’ was truly a celebration of gratitude—for every contribution, every achievement and every individual who made this remarkable year possible.
As one chapter concludes and another begins, JITO Ahmedabad looks ahead with stronger national representation, deeper bonds and renewed enthusiasm to create even greater opportunities and milestones in the years ahead.
