JITO Ahmedabad successfully organized the Akhil Bhartiya Hasya Kavi Sammelan on 11 June 2026 at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Ahmedabad. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from JITO members, who gathered to enjoy an evening of laughter, poetry and fellowship.
The event was graced by MLA Shri Amit Shah & Shri Kaushik Jain, Jt. Commissioner of CGST Shri Gyanchand Jain, veteran Jito member Shri Sobhagmal ji Kataria, Shri Amit Jain, Shri Asit Shah, Shri Chetan Shah, Shri Gautam Jain, Shri Hasmukhbhai Gadhecha, Shri Jigish Doshi, Shri Jigish Shah, Shri Kushal Bhansali and Shri Prakash Sanghvi apart from office bearers and working committees of chapter, ladies wing and youth wing.
The program featured renowned poets from across India, including Padma Shri Kavi Dr. Sunil Jogi from Delhi, Kavi Shambhu Shikhar from Bihar, Kavi Dr. Aditya Jain from Delhi, Kavi Siddharth Dewal from Rajasthan, Kavi Gaurav Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Sonal Jain from Maharashtra and Kavi Hiramani Vaishnav from Chhatisgarh. Their wit, poetic talent and engaging performances kept the audience entertained throughout the evening.
The recitations blended humour with reflections on patriotism, Jain values, social observations and politics. The audience responded with appreciation and applause, remaining fully engaged as the program continued late into the night.
The Hasya Kavi Sammelan was a memorable celebration of poetry and togetherness, reinforcing the spirit of the JITO family. JITO Ahmedabad extends its gratitude to all the poets, organizers, sponsors, volunteers and members whose support contributed to the success of the event. More than 800 attendees enjoyed the event.
