On 17th December, the Youth Wing organised a Guided Walk + Breakfast in the iconic gullies of Old Amdavad City. The event, Ateet Ki Subah, brought 35 energetic members together on a chilly winter morning, as they deep-dived into Ahmedabad’s cultural roots and explored its History, Architecture, Culture, Art, and Lifestyles.The walk was led by a highly experienced guide, Mr. Nirav Panchal, who infused each step with stories and insights that brought the city’s cultural tapestry vividly to life. The group visited several heritage monuments, namely Dalpatram Chowk, Kala Ram Mandir, Secret Passage, Shanthinath Pol, Ashtapad Derasar, Harkunwar Sethani Ni Haveli, Manek Chowk, Rani Ka Hajira, Jama Masjid, & Old Stock Exchange Building.The 2 hour walk finally concluded at Deewanji Ni Haveli with an all-included scrumptious & local breakfast spread of Methi Gota, Fafda, Jalebi, & Khaman! As a token of appreciation, all participants were gifted beautiful, hand sketched postcards with drawings of significant Ahmedabad monuments likeHutheesingh Jain Temple, Bhadra Fort, Jhulta Minar etc. on them.We received wonderful post-event feedback, concluding that everyone looks forward to more such informative & engaging experiences in the Youth Wing!
