JITO Ahmedabad witnessed a grand success of one of its kind program, Candid talk with Sanjay Ghodawat (FCP member, JITO Kolhapur & Founder, SGG-one of the highest growing conglomerates), organised on 26thDecember 2022 at Hotel ITC Narmada. The event was convened by Vice Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer. Many JITO dignitaries like immediate Past Chairman Shri Ganpatraj Chowdahry, Apex Vice President Shri Kushal Bhansali, Apex Directors Shri Jigish Shah (JBN), Smt. Sushma Kanakaria (JIW Matrimony) and Shri Nirav Shah (JPoint), Zone Chairman Shri Amit Jain, managing committee members, office bearers and other JITO members remained present and graced the event.Chairman Shri Sanjeev Chhajer and team and the dignitaries welcomed Shri Sanjay Ghodawat and his wife Smt. Neeta Ghodawat at the venue as per the JITO tradition. The audience had a glimpse of his life journey through a video clip before his entry and were curious to hear him more face to face and learn from him to be a successful businessman and entrepreneur. Smt. Shweta Hundia (JLW Chairperson) gave his brief introduction.Shri Sanjay Ghodawat said in his speech that nothing comes so easily on hand and life is not so easy. Unless we chase our dreams and ambition nothing can be achieved. Many people have lots of ideas but not worthy until implemented. He gave insights about his success in a very simple way by means of short stories, quotes, motivational messages and demonstrating the facts that age is not a barrier to learn anything in life.He is a mechanical engineer and with his persuasion he has proved his excellence by owning 16 diverse industries like aviation, education, energy, consumer products, realty, retail and textiles. He became a commercial pilot at the age of 53.He also owns a University where research based curriculum and academically oriented teaching staff teaches more than 16000 students in various fields and is among the top 10 Universities of India where job oriented programs, research, training and placement is givento the students.He is a very down to earth personality and also believes in doing humanitarian deeds and formed the Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation. By helping the people during natural disasters like Covid pandemic, flood, etc. he wants to give back to the society. He also owns a blood bank and runs an old age home, school for the blinds and has planted many trees. Because of his philanthropic nature and his achievements, he has received numerous local and national awards.He gives the credit of his success to his wife Neeta Ghodawat who took care of the family while he was busy growing his business empire. He wishes that his children carry forward the legacy of his virtues, Jain culture and its heritage. His ambition is to make SGG ‘The Biggest, The best and the Most Valuable conglomerate”.
