Mr. Saluja demonstrated how solid wood furniture could be reused creatively, reducing waste and promoting sustainability. He also highlighted the harmful effects of plywood on health, advising against its use in homes.The event included a visit to BOHO Homes, where attendees saw firsthand how the company exclusively uses reclaimed wood for their new furniture and art effects. This visit underscored the practical applications of the 3R principles in interior design and home décor.Chairperson Krina Shah provided an informative session on rainwater harvesting, explaining its benefits and how it contributes to sustainable living.To encourage eco-friendly practices, members were given seeds of blue pea (Aparajita) and Adenium to plant at home. Additionally, BOHO Homes gifted each participant a paperweight made from solid reclaimed wood, symbolizing the event’s commitment to sustainability.The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the organizers.
