The Jito Ladies Wing (JLW) Ahmedabad held a memorable Gala Extravaganza on September 23, 2023, at the Kristar Banquet Hall. The event celebrated the achievements of its members and marked the culmination of a successful year. The dignitaries for this event were Padmashri Dr. Kumarpalji Desai, mayor Pratibhaji Jain, Jaina Lalbhai and Snehalben Nagar Seth.The evening began with a heartfelt felicitation of JLW members who have excelled in various fields, recognizing their remarkable contributions and successes. The Mayor Shrimati Pratibhaji Jain did the honour of felicitations with the Radiance awardsThe efforts of the core and executive committee members were also acknowledged, highlighting their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Past chairs of JLW were also acknowledged.A highlight of the event was the launch of a coffee table book titled “Radiance,” showcasing the Introduction of JITO, Aim of JITO Ladies Wing, ancient yet little known Derasars of Gujarat, Notable Jain Families & personality, the diverse events organized by Chairperson Krina Shah and the JLW team during the 2023-2024 term. This coffee table book serves as a testament to the creativity and dynamism of the organization.To add an element of fun, a drum circle was organized, allowing all 200 members present to engage in a lively and interactive experience, fostering camaraderie and joy.The evening concluded with a scrumptious spread of food, allowing members to enjoy a delightful dining experience. As the event drew to a close, many attendees took to the stage to express their gratitude and appreciation for Chairperson Krina Shah’s exemplary leadership and the splendid programs she initiated throughout the year. At the end the sponsors for the year were also acknowledged.
