The JITO Ahmedabad Ladies Wing, under the leadership of Chairperson Anuja Shah, convened by Falguni Jain, successfully organized the Greener Planet Tree Plantation Initiative at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sabarmati, to promote environmental sustainability and inspire the younger generation to care for nature.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from 15 JITO members and over 400 students, who came together to plant 500 trees and pledged to nurture them for a greener future.
The event was graced by Smt. Anju Shah, Deputy Mayor, who appreciated the efforts of the JITO Ahmedabad Ladies Wing and acknowledged the generous support of Mrs. Urvi Rajan Shah in making this noble initiative possible. Councillors from the Sabarmati Ward also graced the occasion and encouraged the participants.
The plantation drive successfully instilled the values of environmental responsibility among the students, reinforcing the message of preserving Mother Nature for future generations.
