JITO Ahmedabad Ladies Wing successfully organized an enlightening and empowering session on “Her Power, Her Rights” convened by Vice Chairperson and event convener Neeta Rupani on 25th June 2026 at AMA, Ahmedabad under the leadership of Chairperson Anuja Shah and team. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chairman Rajeev Chhajer, Vice Chairman Pravesh Mehta and Sampatraj Chowdhary, whose encouragement added great value to the occasion. More than 40 members attended the session, reflecting the growing interest among women in understanding their legal and financial rights.

The session was conducted by Adv. Nupur Shah, Legal Head of Dhiren Shah & Co. and Advocate at the Gujarat High Court, who delivered highly informative and practical insights on women’s rights, Streedhan, bank locker operations, income tax search and seizure procedures, inheritance planning, trusts and wealth protection. Her lucid explanations on handling sensitive situations such as income tax raids and safeguarding personal assets were particularly appreciated by the attendees. She emphasized the importance of proper documentation and highlighted that registration of a Will is essential to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transfer of inherited wealth and property to legal heirs and nominees.

The interactive session empowered participants with valuable legal awareness and financial knowledge, enabling them to make informed decisions and confidently protect their rights and assets. The program concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, followed by high tea, providing members with an opportunity to network and exchange views. The event was widely appreciated for its relevance and timely guidance, making it a meaningful initiative towards strengthening women’s legal and financial empowerment.
