The installation ceremony of Jito Ahmedabad new team was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel on 26thSeptember 2024 at Auda Auditorium. The Guests of Honour included the Mayor of Ahmedabad, Smt. Pratibhaben Jain and Shri Sudhirbhai Mehta. The distinguished individuals were warmly felicitated by the dignitaries.A series of impactful speeches were delivered by key figures, including former JITO Apex Chairman Shri Ganpatraj Chowdhary and he appreciated Chairman Shri Asit Shah, Chief Secretary Shri Pravesh Mehta and the team for their exemplary performance during their tenure, JITO Apex Chairman Shri Pruthviraj Kothari, JITO Apex President Shri Vijay Bhandari, JATF Chairman Shri Gautam Jain, Shraman Arogyam Chairman Shri Ramesh Haran and Shraman Arogyam President Shri Malay Shah.The Change of Guard ceremony marked the symbolic passing of the baton from the outgoing Chairman Shri Asit Shah to the newly appointed Chairman Shri Rushabh Patel.Shri Vijay Bhandari, President of JITO Apex, along with Shraman Arogyam’s Past Chairman and Director Apex, Shri Himanshu Shah, administered the oath of office to Shri Rushabh Patel including the JITO Office Bearers, Ladies Wing and Youth Wing. The ceremony was conducted with grace in the esteemed presence of dignitaries.Apex Chairman Shri Prithviraj Kothari, in his inaugural speech, lauded Shri Asit Shah and his team for their exemplary performance in 2023-24. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to Shri Rushabh Patel on becoming the new Chairman He also urged to promote Seva, knowledge, and economic empowerment.Immediate Past Chairman Shri Asit Shah expressed his gratitude for the appreciation shown towards his team’s dedicated efforts and presented a video summarizing the activities undertaken during his tenure. He extended his best wishes to the incoming team, assuring them of his continued support.In his acceptance speech, Chairman Shri Rushabh Patel welcomed the challenges and committed to giving his best to the Jain community of all sects. He shared his optimism for the newly appointed office bearers, Youth Wing, Ladies Wing, and JBN Convener. He promised Pruthviraj ji that he will give his best and work for all 3 missions; Seva, Knowledge and Economic empowerment. He distributed tree saplings representing the spiritual influence of the 24 Tirthankaras, contributing to the city’s greenery.With this installation, all the Gachhadhipati and Acharyas have praised and given message to Jito Ahmedabad for sevakiyapravruti for the Jain community and spread the blessings for JITO.The Mayor of Ahmedabad, Smt.
