Under the stalwart leadership of Chairman Shri Asit Shah and team, JITO Ahmedabad Sports 2024, held on February 3, 2024, at Rajpath Club, was a significant event organized by Shri Hardik Shah and his team. The event featured six games and attracted approximately 270 participants, aged between 7 and 90. Beginning at 8:30 am, the day saw over 500 events unfold, supported by enthusiastic sponsors. A total of 90 winners were eligible for participation, with 32 representing JITO Ahmedabad at the JITO National Sports 2024 held in Bangalore at the Padukone Dravid Centre for Excellence on May 24-25, 2024.JITO Ahmedabad achieved remarkable success, with 20 players winning a total of 34 medals (9 Gold, 10 Silver, 15 Bronze), securing 2nd place among all 40 JITO chapters for the highest number of medals won. Participants enjoyed their stay in Bangalore, engaging in various recreational activities besides the sports events. The opening ceremony featured dignitaries from across India, with the sports committee and the host chapter, Bangalore from KKG Zone, making significant efforts to execute the event successfully. Attendees praised the merchandise, food, logistics, and hotel accommodations.The closing ceremony featured a surprise appearance by RCB sensation Shreyanka Patil, whose inspiring speech captivated the players. Winners were felicitated with certificates, medals and impressive prizes. Overall, the event was a great success, showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of the participants.
