Rangrez – Colours of Creation unfolded as a magnificent two-day national celebration of art, culture, creativity and leadership on 21st and 22nd February 2026 in Ahmedabad. Conceptualized and led by JLW Ahmedabad Chairperson Smt. Anuja Shah and organized jointly with JITO Ahmedabad Youth Wing (JYW), the festival marked a milestone in the cultural journey of JITO Ahmedabad, bringing together artists, entrepreneurs, performers, dignitaries and art lovers onto one vibrant platform that bridged traditional heritage with contemporary expression.
The festival was inaugurated on 21st February by Chapter Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer, Chief Secretary Shri Jainikbhai Vakil, JLW Chairperson Smt. Anuja Shah and JYW Chairman Shri Vivek Kankaria. The auspicious opening was graced by distinguished dignitaries and art patrons whose presence elevated the occasion:

Under the mentorship and meticulous coordination of JLW Vice Chairperson Smt. Nita Rupani, who emerged as the silent strength and backbone of the initiative, the event witnessed seamless execution. She was strongly supported by JLW Chief Secretary Smt. Ami Hapani, Sr. Vice Chairperson Smt. Renu Chhajer and the entire JLW working committee. Their combined efforts ensured that logistical pressures, last-minute adjustments and large-scale coordination were handled with calm leadership and precision.
The festival featured over 70 curated stalls and showcased 50 artists between the ages of 10 and 70, creating a meaningful bridge between classical artistry and modern creativity. Artists and stall participants praised the organizing team for their supportive, responsive and solution-oriented approach, which contributed to a smooth and encouraging experience.

A defining highlight was the grand Shubhmangal Finale on 22nd February, a soulful blend of devotion, rhythm and celebration. The enchanting “Holi in Kathak” performance by Smt. Anuja Shah along with students of Guru Smt. Shubhaben Desai captivated audiences with expressive storytelling and grace. Choreography by Smt. Shubhaben Desai and Garba choreography by Smt. Alpa Shah infused artistic brilliance into the evening.

A proud and inspiring moment was the felicitation of the Garvi Gujarat Ladies Cricket Team from Gujarat Zone, who secured 2nd Runner-Up position at the JITO National Ladies Box Cricket Tournament in Indore. The team was coordinated by Smt. Neeta Rupani and Zone Convener Smt. Sangita Shah, and led by:

They proudly brought home ₹31,000 cash prize, the tournament trophy and ₹2,100 for Best Cricket Team Reel. Appreciation was extended to Smt. The Chairperson of the Ladies Wing extended heartfelt appreciation to Sakhshi Chhajer and her dedicated team for their seamless planning, scheduling, and supervision of stall installations. Special recognition goes to Vivek Kankaria for his outstanding creative contributions, including stall name designs, painting installations, labels, e-book and physical book designs and hoardings. Sincere thanks are also due to Khushi Outdoors for their impactful radio, hoarding and outdoor promotions.
Their collective efforts brought Rangrez to life with color, creativity and flawless execution.
In his concluding reflections, Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer described Rangrez as a brilliantly visualized and superbly executed milestone that has raised the benchmark for future leadership. He applauded Smt. Anuja Shah, Smt. Neeta Rupani, Smt. Ami Hapani, Shri Vivek Kankaria and both JLW and JYW teams for creating a glorious and memorable chapter in JITO Ahmedabad’s journey.
Rangrez 2026 was not merely an art fest—it was a celebration of creativity, enterprise, empowerment, teamwork and vision. From colours on canvas to rhythms of ghungroos, from artisan stalls to sporting laurels, it stood as a testament that when dedication meets leadership, excellence becomes inevitable.
