On Sunday, JITO Ahmedabad, an international body of ‘JITO’ comprising Jain traders, businessmen, and professionals, organized the “Seva Setu by JITO” program at Dinesh Hall, Ahmedabad.JITO Ahmedabad Chairman, Shri Asitbhai Shah provided detailed information on the various social initiatives undertaken by JITO, such as education loans, a civil service training center, angel investment and job placement services, all aimed at benefiting the Jain community.The convener of the program, Bhadresh Shah, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries present, including Ahmedabad City Mayor Pratibhaben Jain, Member of Parliament Amitbhai Shah, MLA Kaushikbhai Jain, former president of JITO Apex, Ganapatraj ji Chaudhary, Chairman of Shraman Arogyam, Prakashbhai Sanghvi, and other officials and Jain leaders from Rajnagar. The event was organized as a consultation to enhance the reach of education, healthcare, business employment and higher education among the Jain youth.Former Chairman of JITO Apex, Shri Ganpatrajji Choudhary, presented an overview of the organization and highlighted its progress over the past 18 years. Prakashbhai Sanghvi, Chairman of Shraman Arogyam, shared insights about providing medical care to over 14,000 venerable Jain sadhus.The event saw a large attendance of officials from various Jain Sanghs, leaders of various Jain communities, trustees of welfare trusts and numerous businessmen, academicians, and youth from the Jain community in Ahmedabad.MLA Kaushikbhai Jain urged the Jain community to set aside sectarian differences and unite to foster progress in every field. On this occasion, MLA Amitbhai Shah suggested JITO to make an educational institution, hospital, and/or medical college. He promised to give full support wherever needed and also suggested that all those present should take advantage of the JITO activities and try to provide it to the needy Jains. Mayor Pratibhaben Jain praised JITO’s efforts in serving Jain sadhus and sadhvis and emphasized the importance of supporting those who have renounced worldly life.The event concluded with a vote of thanks from JITO Ahmedabad Chief Secretary, Pravesh Mehta.This program highlighted JITO’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of the Jain community through education, healthcare, and employment initiatives.
